Women Artists, My view, Reason for Quiz
Women Artists have been under represented in art. My research into art done by women has inspired me and I have a sense that there is a qualitative difference between art done by women and that done by men.
I have developed a quiz to find if people can determine if a painting was done by a man or a woman.
I have apologies to make regarding my approach on this quiz:
– I have treated gender as binary, which is not true,
– The quality of the reproductions is sometime poor.
– My selection of artwork is highly European and Western.
